We are offering a set of 11 DVDs which are the most extensive video documentation ever done of the story of the Road to Nowhere. These professionally done videos were shot by a CBS reporter and camaraman and include interviews with people who actually were born and raised on the land which would eventually become the North Shore of Fontana Lake.
They tell their sad story of being kicked off the land by the United States government in the 1940's but relate how they took heart in the government's promise to build a road so they could at least get back to the old cemeteries they left behind. But the government never built the promised road. That left those who lost their land with sweet memories of the land they loved but with a profound bitterness with the Government for failing to fulfil its promise.
